the professor was just being honest with his opinion, and maybe his emotions got the better of him that's why he reacted that way...it's just TOO discriminating to describe in gruesome details about the past and addressing his statement in generality of the Moslem population...the past is past and he should not have brought the past issues by just reacting on a current simple issue..it is not the Moslem students' fault on whatever happened in the past...Â*

Ang mga muslim sa Cebu bay, dili man mka pataka ug kiat2x or gubot2x... kay Cebu is dominated by Christians, or perhaps Catholics.. so they have no choice but to obey the rules and live in peace... or else we will kick their asses...
Pero moadto mo sa mindanao, although some muslims are peace loving, daghan jud mga badlongon didto... they even discriminate non-muslims!

.... it's purely a discriminating statement. the professor got too personal, stating all those gruesome acts done by muslims, even those of ancient origins. C'mon, the students have nothing to do with it. Do they have the luxury of choosing their own religion?? they are not lam-ang for vai's sake, who can talk right after birth. We can't say HEY, MA, DONT BAPTIZED ME AS R.C. or I DONT WANT ISLAM AS MY RELIGION. The professor is wrong to have dealt with this whole terrorism stuff as involving all muslims.
here's my question to the professor:
We, Roman Catholic doesnt have the right to live freely too coz of the rape of the many countries done by the R.C. Spaniards and Portuguese. The murders done by the Roman Catholic popes. On a local issue, the murders in Lapu lapu island. And to them Americans, the Protestants. the bombing on hiroshima and nagasaki. For turning their back against the needy, for being too greedy and not helping Africa and those third world countries. For the unlawful war in Iraq.
.. you see, its the same thought but the target is now, RC and protestants.
.. if you do generalization and include the past crimes done by your religion. NONE of us on this earth wont have the right to live.

But in their Religion, it is justifiable to kill non muslims.. or Christian Infidels...
