Every advice in that column is true. I found myself having committed a lot of the mistakes mentioned, when I started running. Number one gyud nang WRONG SHOES. Number two is running through pain. I blame the media for promoting the DON'T QUIT cliche. That's just wrong, when it comes to running. It's important to listen to your body.
