No.1 You don't need to be a musician or music lover to become one.... Especially being punk/hardcore as some of you might think. Although, this might be prevalent during the time nga bag.o pa ni.. Its like a philosophical offshoot sa punk movement. Ang pinaka basic ani is having total self control about yourself, your lifestyle. About ato nag mention nga where's the fun in that? It is contradictory because *** + drugs = rock n roll? But part of the definition of straight edge is a REACTION to the hedonism and self-destruction that CHARACTERIZED punk. The movement WISHES to attract people away from dependancy lifestyles centred around drug habits (legal or illegal) and unhealthy and exploitative eating and general living habits common in modern cultures. Edge is not DOGMATIC, there are no hard rules, these are for YOU to decide. Nobody should dictate or preach an ideology like the church or state.

Its just sad nga naa magpakaaron ingnon edge sila pero never really got the point of the movement, vice versa naa pud mga tawo nga way nahibaw.an nga mo care to research and just be judgemental.... Pero ok ra na, ang pagsabot ra man na sa to each his own beliefs man pud dba? So all we need to hurdle these issues about the topic is to just respect... I respect them edgers as much as I respect the non-edgers... I believe 98.5% of my friends are non edgers, i totally understand them, they totally understand me...Just my .05 cents... Peace y'all
