of course, you are a convert, you just said it yourself, you believe in EVOLUTION of animals, that is one major area of our beliefs as evolutionist. you may force yourself not to believe in having a common ancestor with the apes, but your getting there. dont fight it, let your tail grow.
if your really a true die hard creationist, you wont even consider an evolutionist idea. i am not desperate my son, im just mentoring you to follow our footsteps, cmon lil monkey, make your first step, dont be shy.
brothers and sisters of Evolution, we have a new convert------Necrotic Freak!!!
oh for your question here is my answer.
the good thing about evolutionist ideas that we are very careful, and safe not to make immediate conclusions on matters unknown.
we always provide a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world; an organized system of accepted knowledge that applies in a variety of ways.
we submit a proposed explanation for an observable phenomenon. For a hypothesis to be put forward as a scientific hypothesis, the scientific method requires that one can test it. Scientists generally base scientific hypotheses on previous observations that cannot satisfactorily be explained with the available scientific theories. Even though the words "hypothesis" and "theory" are often used synonymously in common and informal usage, a scientific hypothesis is not the same as a scientific theory. A working hypothesis is a provisionally accepted hypothesis.
the evolution of having a common ancestor with the apes is already a hypothesis, an accepted idea of scientists, especially micro-biologists and paleontologists because of the fossil records that scientists discover. without these fossil records, evolution would be wrong.
a theory for example is the Big bang theory, its never been tested. thats why its still a theory. So you understand now my child? hehe
