Wright is on the losing end here cause its gonna make things far worse than before, he's gonna have a harder time looking for an opponent again. he is a dangerous choice as an opponent with low gain for any title holder to consider plus the age factor (he is already 35).

People have been dodging WInky Wright... including de la Hoya.... he's very crafty and hard to hit, he's like a Pernell Whitaker but only better.

i dont think Winky is better than Pernell "Sweetpea" Whitetaker.... although they have similar style....

i'll go for winky over sweatpea. winky is the most avoided boxer by the elite. fernando vargas almost fell into his trap. vargas got that gift decision because he was a star in the making during that time. oscar delahoya is a very lucky boy because he hasnt faced winky not like shane mosley and tito trinidad who made their biggest mistake by facing winky

I think WINKY is better than Sweet Pea... Winky has a better jab and hits harder.

One thing though, I think Oscar would do better against Winky... One thing I'd give OSCAR is that he's a very very smart fighter and he has great defense against jabs.

winky does have a harder punch compared to pernell.

a very talented ring general like Pernell, Winky, Juan Manuel Marquez, or Calzaghe could somehow neutralize an opponents power through puzzling defense and counters.

Oscar is not considered a hard puncher in his present weight class anyways... and he doesn't rely on his punching power nowadays, it's mostly the accumulation of shots.... He's got a good jab, a very good defense, very quick, power from both hands, and one of the best left hooks of the game. A Wright - de la Hoya could be the match of the decade.. (or de la Hoya vs Floyd Jr.)

if delahoya vs wright will happen, i will go for winky. i think it will be a lopsided decision. remember the two fighters who beat oscar were of no match for winky, not even close except for winky vs mosley 2. delahoya vs mayweather will be a blockbuster but i doubt if the fight will happen due to delahoya's trainer is mayweather sr. plus this bout will just aggravate the turbulence happening to mayweather's family but, i hope it will happen coz it will be a hell of a fight.
