the best way as kiven mitnick "a known HACKER" says social engineering is the powerful tool for hacking, you must ask a permission to access your neighbors internet access.

it can be illegal to top into your neighbors internet access without their permission.

other option get a mobile internet connection prepaid or postpaid plan from any major internet service provider.

    other tools for hacking.

here's some tools you need first:
this is just for educational purpose only:
for home testing: you need USB wifi or PCI wifi card(mapalit nimo sa CDRKING), wifi router that has the latest firmware installed i prepare TP-link then flash to ddwrt firmware, a desktop or laptop, i prepare a laptop for this.

now download this and run as a virtualized or boot it to other drive, but i prepare virtualized.

And Why would you need a wifi card doesnt your laptop have a wifi card built in to begin with?

Its very possible to hack a wifi if the security if its just regular 64bit WEP.
If the encryption is WPA there is not a person yet able to decrypt the WPA wifi encription.

Another difficulty is the 128bit WEP encryption since the password is 26 characters long case sensitive.
It would take very long for a regular computer to brute force a 26 character password.

Just look for 64bit WEP type of wifi security since its the easiest to hack with a help of wifi scanning software.
