nakasulay nako ug intake.. na cold air.. mura man ni hinay akong torque..

unsa diay mag pa dako ano cold air intake Torque or Horsepower?

i have done the intake upgrade and upper strut bar installed.. im having the headers, exhaust pipe and mufflers to be replaced next week and hopefully front lower and rear strut bar..

so far okay ra man epekto sa custom intake nako, medyo ni gaan tamakan ang accelerator... ingon ako mga kauban, if mailisan ug headers mosamot gyud ka gaan ang dagan..

filter sa intake kay naa na sya cleaner bai. mura sya fluid but i dnt know where nagbaligya diri. pwede ra sad gamit ka ug blower pra tangtang sa abog but best if naa ka atong filter cleaner.

power should also be complimented with good traction in order to get the maximum benefit of your upgrades. in my opinion, headers + cold air intake + exhaust is "the best bang for buck" combo. sa headers, you dont really need a big diameter pipe, whats important is you have an equal set of length sa runners to ensure equal flow of exhaust gases. dili man sad advisable mga bro nga padak-an ug maayo ang tubo kay you will lose too much back pressure which leads to poor low to mid range power. for cars nga walay available aftermarket cold air intake, pwede raman ka mag DIY by using pvc pipe and rubber hoses then you can buy the aftermarket cone filter element. USROLLA, any inputs on camshafts or clutch?...

@dairyman: pila gasto nimo sa CAI? pila pud gasto-onon sa headers and exhaust upgrade nimo? in your opinion bai, ni increase fuel consumption nimo or decrease or same? unsay awto nimo bai?

some say mas economiya daw ni sa gas kay ang engine doesn't need effort to run na kuno, mao lesser fuel is needed.

@all: regarding ECUs, kinsay nasuhito ug reprogram ani or tune-up ani?

yeah sakto jud richie_neri bro..ayaw palabi daku sa exhaust kay makuwaan jud ug kusog..2 inch pwede na but if magplano ka turbo then 3 inch lang.

I wish maka add ko info sa cams but single cam ra man ko...i wish sa future maka double ko and also change the ecu..

lami ang epekto anang basic bolt on upgrades bro..feeling lagi naglumba nasad ka on your own. pa timing sad diay ka bro pra ma abtik..kamay lang tapak kay dagan dayun ba.

Naa pud mo option na remove ang resonator sa stock intake nya relapce ang stock air filter with KNN drop-in filter (3500 man tu before) then modify the secondary runners and collector of your header to a larger diameter. Remove your catlytic converter and replace with 24"resonator. Maximum diameter of your pipe should be 2.25" But I prefer 2" (mandrel bent) for daily driver.

How about any cheap upgrades with noticeable power improvements ? I am planning to swap a 4G92 DOHC MIVEC in my 4G93 SOHC . The engine alone is more expensive than the value of the car . It is a 99 MItsu mirage coupe , the same as the Lancer GSR but I have the stock 1.8 L . Any suggestion or I have to resort to basic I/H/E ?

it was around 1,800.00 raman bai.. headers nga taiwan is around 3,500.00.. wala pako kabalo pila ako gastoon sa free flow nga pipe kay stainless ako ipataud.. nangita sad ko catback exhaust basin naa dire cebu..

with regards sa fuel consumption, wa may nausab bai. na feel ra nimo nga mas kusog ang nicer ang tingog kay motaghoy man inig suyop sa free flow nga filter... esi ako auto bai..
