1. It can still compete with the other CANONIKONS entry level and semi-pro level out there.
2. N0t overly expensive.
3. Search google for the Pentax-Kx which receives a lot of good reviews. It is by far considered as the top notch entry-level DSLR on the DSLR market batch (same camera batches that were released to the market at around the time K-x was also released).

All K-mount lenses can fit on a pentax DSLR body. Bisag katong mga lenses na dili pa uso ang DSLR igo kaau! Take note basta kay K-mount lang.

Camerahaus at SM have Pentax body and lenses available. If naa ka gusto na mga accessories naa pud sila didto. If wala pwede sila maka-order from their main branch sa Manila.

Third-party lenses like Tamron and Sigma are also available for pentax.

Since pentax DSLR bodies have build-in SR (Share Reduction) System, all your manual and auto-focus lenses will have the "VR" or "IS"!

Bought my pentax here at istorya. The former owner change his system to nikon. Happy with my pentax. To really think about it is not the camera but the user. Tried using canon 50d but still will go for my pentax though still learning how to get good pics also tried using nikon90 not so friendly. As for lenses have bought from users in Pentax Manila and also tamron from Manila too. As for the lenses of Pentax, i could say they are more cheaper than Nikon or canon and good ones too. As for service center, all are in manila even for canon and nikon. if you go to the service center here in cebu they will still send your camera to manila. If thinking of buying k x don't buy from camera haus very pricey you could get from manila. Henry's is selling red KX, i think for 40t

Pentax at MEPZ can service your camera. UZUMAKI can probably help us confirm if dili na sya ipadala to Manila. This is a great plus for pentax because it gets serviced on where the Pentax Camera's are assembled! Just at our own backyard (mactan mepz)!

naa koy friend nga former manager sa pentax but i didnt remember kung asa nga division siya, ingon siya nga kon mopalit siya ug dslr maayo jud kuno ang pentax kay quality kaayo kay familiar kaayo siya!
iya jud g recommend sa akoa, pero nakapalit naman ko ug lain na brand!
