you cannot format drive c: since boot loader is in drive c:. windows by default reads the boot loader from drive c: to locate your OS. without the system files in your drive c: your win 7 in drive d: will be useless. so you are better off doing a clean install of your win 7 on drive c:.
:/ ya i guess that's my last resort. i don't know what to do. like clean install windows 7 on drive c but still having windows 7 on drive d?
also is there a software that'll make things easier for me to backup and restore my files? (assuming there's a simpler method than windows backup and restore utility)
@cookies if familiar ka "partition magic" download lang but careful lang sa operations it might destroy ur whole system files. but no Biggie if kasabot lang kas mga instructions, hope this helps
share lang ko sa ako experience nag try ko nag dual boot or 2 OS windows XP PRO & windows 7 Ultimate ako sayop kay i used only 1 HDD tapos ako gi partition ka 2 ang isa for XP ang isa for 7, after ato working paman xa until ni kalit lang xa ug ka Corrupt ang windows boot XP and 7 as in ni slow kaayu iyang performance. so format nasad ko but this time i have 2 HDD 1 for XP and another 1 for 7 so far working well man xa... i hope maka help ni... =)
