I dont agree that call center agents are payed "better" unless imo gi compare to the standard laborer that earns 6-8 a month, if you work in a real profession ( probably aside from nursing ) you'ed easily earn more than a CC agent, sayon lang gyud kaayo ang pagka CC agent.
My friend who is a C.I. in a local school earns more for her 15days than my 30days of work in a callcenter.
ang ako nalibogan ba, ngano mas dako man ang sweldo sa mga call center agents kaysa sa mga taw nga naa jud profession, like engineers, nurses, teachers and etc... luoy tawn kayo ning mga tawhana noh kay puga kayo ilang utok para makapasar sa board unya ang ilang ma sweldo sa ilang trabaho kay mo range ra ug 8k-12k a month... akong maguwang mga licensed ECE kay ingon nako hibaw-an padaw ga IT nalang siya, mas dako pa daw ug sweldo...
Perhaps, I'm just not that intelligent, pero what's so ironic about CC agents talking to fellow pinoys in English? When I was in high schoold (1995 to 1999 USC-BHS) our teachers even encouraged us to speak english all the time. Applying it outside the school was also encouraged although we did'nt actually apply it.
As for the salary, you have to keep in mind that foreign companies are paying for the service of a CC and not a local company.
I hope you're just being sarcastic, ma'am.
First and foremost, I'm a graduate of Computer Engineering (CIT 2004). Secondly, I salute you, sir, kay you got your dream job as an engineer. Congratulations!
Pero, respectfully, sir, you're comments about other engineers who went into the CC industry sounds a bit elitist and is blatantly discriminating.
Have you ever stopped to think that maybe some engineers are working in a CC, kay dili pa sila ka-afford to pay for the board exams? Or that they could not continue their studies kay wala sila kwarta?
