not necessaryli parehas nga model. u can crossfire 4870 with a 4850. u can even use a 4830 for that matter. take a look at the pic above, look at your current model sa ibabaw, if u can notice and red nga markings, then u can go with a crossfire.
750-1000w PSU is only for quad crossfire, that is 2x4870x2 or 4 4870's. if 2x4870, u can even use a 650w, but recommended at least a 700w.

wala ko idea about sa ATI na crossfire rules but sa SLI pwede ra use bisan unsa series or mixed ka Vcard but not as SLI but as dedicated physx na ang isa...
