charter change through con-ass bec. the congressman in which we had elected are the one who will decide, debate and talked about it!!

and i believe that in a parliamentary federal form of government, this country would lessen political tormoil and through federalism, cebu and other emerging cities would grow faster and maybe surpasses Manila!!!

so, it is good for cebu and all large cities here in our country to shift our governement!!

    NO WAY!!!!

This question, however, is not as simple as you may think. Forme, the issue is NOT whether we should have Charter change. That can be good, bad, or irrelevant. The main objection AT THIS TIME is that Cha-cha is being used as a means for GMA and her cohorts to stay in power. I am not a rabid anti-GMA person. I was officiallyu part of her campaign! But she was very disappointing. And her illegal moves such as EO464, CPR, and PP1017 really turned me off.I do NOT want her and her fellow thieves in power past her term. But that is exactly what this Cha-cha initiative is designed to do. Her government can no longer be trusted. And that is why I am AGAINST Cha-cha.

YES, it is true that cha cha is being used by GMA and her puppets to stay in power and not just that, it is also used to hide her political unrulings during the election of May 2004 so that it will not be investigated further if anyone from the opposition is going to win in the next election. GETS NYO NA BA?

Cha cha is ok if there are no JDVs, FVRs, Pichays, GMA puppet congressmens, and some political cohorts to run the government if it prevails...

The change will not be as easy as a snap of the finger. But we can start the change with resolving the loopholes of the present system. With the proposed amendments, the people in the government will be governed by the system ratified by the people. They will have to follow a rule of law that was designed to answer to political gridlock that once hampered the political system from progress.
the present system i may say has failed but when u say like when u change a car and the driver is the same drunkard ass#%/*, it will still dive into the deep ravine- GET IT its not the fault of the Constitution coz the constitution is just rules written on a paper. It cannot drive the country into progress or bankruptcy but it only stands there to be followed by the people whom it governs. I hope the Filipinos are already smart enough to know that the system that GMA wants is a leader not to be elected by the people but by the politicians-congressmen and senators. WE DONT WANT A LEADER WHO IS NOT VOTED BY THE PEOPLE. If it were FEDERAL PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM, i would say ok to it, but PARLIAMENTARY-NO WAY!!!
