To project.. an estimate or forecast on the basis of present trends. It doesn't mean it's final. As evidenced by Chicago winning the lottery in 2008 after being projected to fall into the 6-7th place. Hasta sad to ang 1993 Orlando Magic, projected 10-11th.

So, naa jud chance tanan. Hehehe...

    Anyway...

    Here are some juicy stuff:

The Heat, which has enough cap space to re-sign Dwyane Wade and at least two other premier players, could make a pitch for Atlanta's Joe Johnson, too.

The emergence of point guard George Hill this season and in the playoffs for the San Antonio Spurs could not have come at a better time for the Knicks.

With Donnie Walsh in the market for a point guard, there are reports that San Antonio would consider trading Tony Parker, who lost his starting job to Hill and has told close friends he and his actress wife, Eva Longoria, would love to relocate to New York.

ETO -- gives the player the RIGHT to terminate the contract early. Ex. You are currently done playing the 4th yr of the 5 years contract with the team, before you enter the 5th yr, you have the right to terminate the contract (5th yr. with that team) to test free-agency -- which you are free to go despite you still have 1 yr left with them.

Player Option -- gives the player the right to stay with the team for another yr. If you are signed with a 3 yr contract with a team, and you're currently playing the 3rd yr with the team, you have the option to stay with one more year which will give you an added yr (4th yr.. so you end up signing a 4 yr contract -- if you wish). If you signed a 3 yr deal with a team for $4 million/year, you can declare the player option for another yr for also $4 million. In other words, a player option at the end of your contract it would be up to you to stay with the team for an extra year. Sometimes players don't want to risk signing a new deal because the offer might be lower especially your stats are going low. Player Option are only maximum for a year.

Team Option -- mostly 1st round rookies drafted from 2005-present have this stuff and bench players/not good players. It's up to the team to sign them for an extra year with the same price but that doesn't include the 1st round rookies drafted from 2005-present because they can sign that team option up to 5 yrs. For the 1st round rookies can be signed 5 yr contract with the same price they signed on the first NBA contract.

    Hope this helps.
