MI:3 in a nutshell:
-When Ethan Hunt is jumping off tall buildings, shoots bad guys, disposing nifty gadgets when needed.... he is cool and fun to watch
-When Ethan Hunt on the other hand talks bout love, he is no different than Tom Cruise offscreen. Just plain boring.


Anyway, I still think this is the best of the three. The first one though had all the right ingredients, the plot was soo confusing that it even outsmarted both the good guys and the bad guys. The 2nd one was just plain bad. There was no chemistry between Tom Cruise and that black chick. This 3rd one was a fun ride from start to finish. The asian chick didn't hurt either (a mission worth accomplishing alone).

clearly the directorial talents of jj abrams does not sit well with everyone... true that this film pales to the action splendor of its prequel helmed by the cool John Woo... but I find that the film does have its merits... but that's just me who've been a long time fan of Abrams for his Alias series..
