About the Green and Malaysian Gold issue, this is the fact; and this is also a scum: f ur in a local non CITES registered seller (like ur n Malaysia) mao ni ang ila e baligya nimo specialy ur not familiar w/ Aros. They tend to sale Juvenile Gren aros with the price of Gold Aros, why? Coz in earlier stage both have the same color (Green/Silver) and both are called the same name “Malaysian gold” this is comfusing dba (mao na ang karaan name); but it was then classified as a different bred. Coz both species originated in Malaysia with almost the same bloodlines and habitat except sa color. Normally when u say Malaysian Gold it refers to one of the expensive Aro type the Golden Cross Back (mao na mga mangingilad called there Green aro a “golden Aro”) ug daghan na ilad ani hehehe. Mao it is advised to buy a mature Aro na if ur buying outside/market or buy in reputable license Aro breeder (pra sure).

Just wondering .... possible ba ang MUTATION sa AROWANAS in terms of size , color , physical appearance etc when mausab ang environment niya ? Like ibahin na sa tank , wala na sila wild etc .

I think mao na ang reason between sa GREEN and GOLDEN AROWANA , ni mutate cguro even though they are of the same specie and family .

Yup, it affects appearance, color and size in relation of their environment and food intake. But mutation i hereditary or bloodline quality nay hormonal imbalance na. Possibilities would be cross breeding, like sa pic sa taas Green na Gold. ^^
