@ DRL & borgyliciouzzz: sis ko ha, dili ko bro. di ko kapugos ninyo mga kuya kung di mo motuo . pero siguro kay $1 ra akong hourly gibutang, mao siguro ila giapas. i just started baya january of this year, 3 pa akong feedback nya fixed price pa tanan. in time patas-an na nako hinay-hinay akong hourly rate.

tinood wala ko'y know how sa mga CMS gipanggamit ron, that even includes Wordpress. i've read about it pero wala pa jud koy hands on. alangan man sad akong i-accept ang ilang offers ako sad ang madaot. i need to familiarize nang ilang gipang gamit.

the 3 offers are all full time Virtual Assistant. im a full time employee as well. so ako sad gitimbang timbang og kaya ba nako to work double. im not the kind mga kuya na basta basta na lang mo dive

and i agree lisud mahire. but di ba ingon pa sa mga tang-an na sa odesk and other freelancers, make your profile pleasing, that includes your photo, plus the cover letter. mao sad akong gisunod.

sayon ra bro, pangutana lang sa buyer kung maglibog ka. importante imo rating ako kay 15 jobs nako then 5 average ako rating so mas dali ma attract ang buyer. naa nako suki 5 ka buyer mo diretso ra ug send ug invitation then accept dayon nko hehe. pa impress lang gyud kung ma hire ka accurate imo trabaho then pas2 ka mo trabaho.

pag start ra jud lisud kuya. my first task was to register 4 new gmail accounts to 60+ sites, make a profile then create backlinks, that's for a dollar only. just for the sake of having a feedback. nihatag pag bunos pero not enough coz hapit sad usa ka buwan nahuman. fixed price to sya ha.

i take exams. currently i pass mga 10 or more exams pero akong gipa-public ang tag-as rag passing rate. and dapat mo coincide sa imong skill nga gi self-assess na rate. example, if english self-asses nimo is 4 dapat imong gipang take'an na exams above 4 sad jud. coz buyers will be in doubt nimo hinoon patuyang kag rate sa imong kaugalingon nya sa result sa exam gamay kaayo.

example sa ms excel, nagself assess ka na more than 5 years naka nigamit nya rate nimo 5 kay lagi hanas na kaayo ka, nya diay to result sa exam 3.5 ra. you see what i mean. nag self assess ko sa nako nga 4, pag result sus 2.8 ra. before wala to nako giprivate. but when i visited the community forum, ah ana diay. didto na gasugod sugod pag private nako sa gagmay og score.

i don't have portfolio. but my resume tells all about my history sa work, from scratch to being a team leader.

i started odesk pag dec. i dont know if you remember this but about month before that i was making queries about opening a paypal account and ikaw ang nitubag nako so, much thanks jud nimu!

anyway, i do general article writing and stuff. nisugod ko ug low rate... and once you get a couple of great feedbacks, the job offers will come to you na & true jud, sometimes, you will need to turn down some offers na kai ma busy na nya ka for the first job i got, i bid at least 10 dollars lower than average..but it wasnt a loss cos when i finished the project, g-gaan japon ko ug bonus... just dont be greedy lang, the money part will follow ra
... ayaw& mu ka discourage anang mga uban na super low kaau ug asking rate cos in the end, ang buyers mangita jud ug quality work and will dish out big bucks for quality work... dont sell yourself short

if you have test scores na taas (like top 10 or 20%), i-showcase jud na...walai ulaw2x ui... bahala pud ug i-decline ka. apply and apply lang jud!ako gani when i first started out, daghan rejections but kevs lang, wa bitaw sila kaila nako
