.. as ive said before Rotc can help develop discipline, at the very least. Coz as far as ive noticed, freshmen and sophomore college students are much too lax. Try to go to malls now that school is back. damn too many students. These people should experience the word " hardship "

Discipline actually should start at home. ROTC is not a medium to discipline the students. Students should have a freedom of choice like in the US and other countries. If you wanted to be involve in a military then go for it but if you dont want to do that thing, choose the other way. Dili ka discipline ang laing tawo but your parents and people in your own backyard.

true discipline starts at home pero to incorporate discipline on a larger scale, we should also experience. ROTC so far, is one of the mediums. It doesn't mean kung dli ka gusto dli ka mu apil. fact is, duty nato tanan i protect ang country lay exception. we may not be at war at the moment or for the coming weeks but who knows, with all the hush2x of terrorists and NPAs and other anti-gov activists. and people, dli rna marcha2x ang ROTC, daghan sad ka makatunan oi. (unya kakita pa ka sa sinulog nga lay hassle hehehe )
I don't even like ROTC that much, in fact, I cursed ROTC for not belonging sa DL pag 1st yr college nko(o ing ana kataas ako panganduy ). pero admit ko sakto jud gsulti ni fingolfin nga maslax karun ang la ka agi ug ROTC unya lay mga disiplina. As far as ang ROTC nako, smooth raman, dli hassle, flat 1.0 pa grado. hehehe

EDIT: limpyo na pagkakuha sa ako flat one. la nay under the table or anything. I made that grade thru sweat and blood. thru blood kay napiit akong finger sa pag assemble sa M16.Â*

slakker, i agree with you... kinahanglan nga estriktohon pag-ayo ang ROTC dili kay bagduy2 lang... the aim is to educate Filipinos sa atong allegiance sa atong nasud and how we can help Philippines not only in times of wars but in times of disasters... and this time they should keep tract of all the Reserved Officers nga naka undergo sa training aron dali ra matawag kung ang atong nasud manginahanglan na sa ilang tabang... although daghan kaayong klase sa pag tabang sa atong nasud, just count this as one...

Haha. Even wala pa ang ROTC, panahon pa sa mga Apostles daghan na ang bayot. Naa gani mga bayot nga dili halata, daghan. Kanang napaka lalaki kuno pero lalaki diay japon ang gusto. Naa gani uban, naminyo ug naay mga anak pero bayot gihapon sige ug pangita ug lalaki. Sus. ROTC is not an excuse. CWTS is more on practical sa pagtabang sa society. Atleast dili korakot ang people behind CWTS cguro.

that's what you think. . I know someone from this famous university here in Cebu. the funny thing about this is he gets double the money since it's compulsory for male and FEMALE. and believe me, it isn't just dirty money involve here

pfffffft hala pag civil war. kung nkabasa ka "loverjones_80" . suggestion rana ang "pagbblik" sa ROTC. it may or may not make a comeback.
