you will only understand why parents do this when u urself become a parent. wala lang mo ka realize kung unsa ka protective ang parents. para namong mga ginikanan na, walay pinakasakit or pinaka phobia namo than our children being hurt or their safety is compromise. ako gani, na, mabuang siguro ko ug ma unsa akong mga anak. mao na, gusto mi makahibalo kung kinsa ang inyong mga friends, kinsa ang mga taw inyong permi ka istorya or ka text2, kay kung mag basa ka sa news karong panahona, makahadlok, mga babay, pang rapon, pamatyon, mao sad ang mga lalaki. u cant blame ur parents if they become paranoid and do these things being mentioned

Naa lang koy e share ninyo nga 2 separate situations, its a true to life experience of my cousins' family and our neighbor.

1.)Our neighbors daughter kay hilig night out, kanunay na tambagan but still no effect....until ni layas and lived w/ her barkada kay na buntis diay. Gikuha sya sa iyang parents and gipasaylo. Now she regretted kay wala man sya maka finish ug course and her parents are already old.

2.)My nephew was buotan & a consistent honor student till h.s. until naka barkada. Iya mom, mag segi apas niya mag hilak kay kusog na mo tubag tubag iya son ug dugay na sad mo uli. Kami ni tabang ug advice sa iyang son (my nephew) but still doing the same mistake and iyang grades na affected na,,, until one night wala ni uli ako nephew.

The husband of my cousin thought nga ni layas kay segi man niya kasab an, they cant sleep maong iyang gipangita sa tanan places kasagaran mag hangout, while driving alone w/a heavy heart he met a road accident and was confined at the hospital due to broken leg.

On the next day, one of the barkadas went to see my cousin(the mom) thru the request of his son to claim him at the police station jail coz he is one of the 15 suspects of the rumble between 2 gangs at a particular mall.

When my cousin heard it, she immediately went to the police station crying,,,,, after seeing his son inside the jail & haggard looking, she collapsed. She was then rushed to the hospital kay na stroke.

Fortunately, my nephew was released on the 3rd day.No case was filed due to lack of evidence. He regretted soo much and promised not to enter the gang or prioritize his barkadas anymore,,,,but too late coz his dad naka crutches na and mom was half paralyzed.

The above situations are living proofs that I used to remind my children.
Do parents need to suffer or die before their children could realize how much their parents love them?

Yes, you are right disomniac,,,,,w/o our parents we wont be here in this world. Sila ang nag pakaon, nag alaga ug nagpa eskwela,we owe a lot from them and they deserve to be treated w/ respect and gratitude. Parents are accountable should anything going wrong to thier children.
We are blessed that we have parents to attend to our needs and problems coz others dont really have.
