cold air intake improves the performance of your engine in terms of speed...but not qiute sure with the gas mileage, if there is improvement maybe it is unoticebale bro...

it has nothing to do with the gas bai..its more on performance..but m sure magasto gihapon kay malingaw naman ka pakusog so gasto gihapon sa gas..hehe watch out lang sa mga lubak pag tig ulan.

Guys, I'm just a newbie on cars. What's a Cold Air Intake andwhat it looks like? I have a 1990 SS Galant (1.8L lang), can I install a Cold Air Intake in it? I'm not really in racing I just want a little engine improvement or something na if you want power you'll get it... c",)

Hoping for your expert advise.

there's no specific design sa cold air intake. the concept is to have air intake from outside your engine compartment. (kay init man ang anywhere near the engine) commonly, they take out the air cleaner which is not advisable if you are in the philippines because of the dust. not unless you are willing to spend having a change oil every 1000kms. kay dali ra gyud mahugaw ang engine oil nimo.

bro stealth preha tag car and im planning to install cold air intake on my car too.....
im still searching if there might be conflict but i think this will do coz ive check
other cars outsyd phil...they had it installed at same car as ours same specs....

any ideas mga bro's..it wud really be a great help!......

mga bro, wala diay na cya air cleaner or pwede mataoran ug air cleaner ang cold air intake? how about kana headers? will it improve the fuel effeciency sa car or sa engine performance sa ghpon?

filter sa intake kay naa na sya cleaner bai. mura sya fluid but i dnt know where nagbaligya diri. pwede ra sad gamit ka ug blower pra tangtang sa abog but best if naa ka atong filter cleaner.

sa galant noh kay murag short ram ra man akong nakita or they change the filters to racing filters.

cold air intake and tawag kay and hangin nga kaonun niya kay bungaw..usually sa ubos na sya sa side sa car. somewhere lower sa signal light..mas nindot sya compair sa short ram kay ang short ram didto dapit sa luyu sa radiator fan so dili jud bugnaw and hagin. mas bugnaw ang hangin mas daku ang hatag sa gusog..

headers bro kay engine performance gihapon..either 4-2-1 or 4-1 style..depende na sa imong gusto..4-2-1 is more of mid power while 4-1 kay high end..usually gamit sa drag. mas daku ni sya hatag ug power bai compare sa intake..actually basic 3 upgrades jud bai is...headers, intake and exhaust. I hope naka tabang ko.
