Asa man ta kapalit ani dri sa Cebu mga bro and sis ??
tnx
for school project? this is expensive. I think i can get one.
Actually you have one of the biggest and cheapest Solar-stores in Cebu. Try Solar Star - Best* Solar Power in Philippines
I am in Bukidnon and haven't bought from them yet, but they are much cheaper than our local store here. 50W Solarpanel for P11.000
Of course there are also smaller/cheaper panels.
For me our solar system is much needed these days with the rotating brown-outs in Mindanao, to power laptops, cellphone and light. No loud stinking generator, no fuel buying, no fumes.

thanks for the feedback guys, its for personal use since its getting hotter nowadays and electricity is getting short.Im still canvassing for much cheaper parts here in cebu though im not on the rush building this, since im also quite busy at least i can start little by little, thanks for those who had posted, appreciated it a lot and more power
solar star location please!!!!!!!
I don't know the location of Solar Star, but I am sure you can find it out on the website and be it by e-mail. I just saw that their HQ is in Cebu.
50 Watt is half a square meter. Further you will need a solar charge controller (starting at P1500, but maybe you want to get a better, so you can add more panels later), and a battery. Solar batteries are quite expensive up to P6000 for 100ah. But if you want to save you can also take used car battery (that is too weak for a car, but might still do a few months on a solar system). Then a bunch of cables (think 2.5 mm˛) and then of course the device you want to use.
For example, you can buy some 9W, 12V flouresent bulbs, or a car inverter (check CDRking!) that does change the 12V to 220V. It is most energy saving to use 12V devices directly instead of running it through an inverter.
I think it's ok to leave the topic, as others are still interested to get into it and I didn't see any other solar topic. I am happy for everyone, who goes solar. Information/stores on this is still scarce in the Philippines.
Aside from buying a system, people also get more conscious of saving/optimizing electrical energy, which is sometimes even more valuable.
naa? solar panel kanang ready to use na para aircon? wala nay hassle diretso nalang taod sa house? maka daog og aircon 3/4 hp
