    id go for AMD.. =D but its just me..

    1.3GHz Intel Pentium Ultra Low Voltage SU4100 Processor <-- get this, this is overclockable and maayo performance. Naa ko ani na processor in an M11x

    i like the 1.3GHz Intel Pentium Ultra Low Voltage SU4100 Processor it is also more expensive i guess its good the laptop has a long battery life also

    why is 1.3 intel pentum ghz better or faster than a 1.6ghz amd anthlon.?

    can somebody explain

    if we are just talking about processor speed, I go for the AMD MV-40 (clock speed matters ). The AMD MV handles Vista, it might be designed for it. However, it makes an outstanding choice to get the SU4100 because of how it is being packed with other components like higher RAM and since its only 10W TDP - you have great battery life compared to 15W from the AMD.

    Rainerus said its "overclockable" I'm pretty sure its will surpass 1.6mhz

    i dont know how to overclock.

    if i dont overclock.
    is the amd mv40 faster over the intel su4100 still faster with windows 7.

    dili man lang cpu ra ang basis sa comparison in running an OS or an application. As what comcam say, naa pay other components nga dapat iconsider.

    bro this are lightweight laptops
    The intel has 9 hours battery life
    the amd has 4.5 hours.
    but it doesnt matter to me
    usually powerful laptops eats lots of battery.
    which is better for someone who opens a lot of browsers and download stuff.

    PAckage 1:

    Intel® Pentium® Processor SU4100

    Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium (32-bit)

    Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 4500M
    Graphics Memory*
    128MB-1340MB dynamically allocated shared graphics memory
    Memory*
    3GB DDR3 1066MHz memory
    battery life 9 hours.

    Package 2.

    * AMD Athlon™ Neo Processor MV-40
    * Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)
    * 3GB DDR2 800MHz memory
    * ATI® Integrated Graphics
    battery life: 4.5

    I dont care about the battery life.
    i just dont like it when it takes alot of time to refresh a webpage.

    which is better? it seeams package 1 has better memory
    do you think this would be in help processing when u open the webpage and downloading. listining to internet webcast and music.

    it nice to hear from someone who knows more than mean.

    anybody knows to compare the spec this line by power, ram, video card

    I like package one but i cant explain.

    bai junmar i check the other components.

    I think the amd is single core and single thread 1.6ghz
    the intel is double core and double thread 1.3ghz

    AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 Processor 1.6GHz, 512KB L2 Cache
    Intel® Pentium® Processor SU4100 1.3ghz 2m L2cache

    is it true that double core is faster regardless of the ghz.

    i dont have any experience comparing computers.
