dude you dont get the point... im not saying wla clay gamit, all im saying is dont just depend entirely on what you had learned from school. As a matter of fact gamit kau na cla oi... atong mga instructor cla byay mo tudlo nato sa basic and we all know learning the basic is the most important thing. Pro nig trabaho nimo di mn basic task pirmi ky ang client ky wild mn kaug imagination ganahan mn advance functionality like ako im a PHP programmer what ive learned from school is basic add, edit, delete PHP/mysql. pro nig trabaho nimo mka di na uso ang hard code ug wala nanag simple coding, pinasapasay naman ang trabaho, kasagaran gamit nag framework like codeignigter, joomla, wordpress etc.. naa pay framewok sa javascript like jquery nya maka gamit sd kg ajax. nya ang work sa CSS di sd mayano ky mg test ka sa display in all major web browser like mozilla, ie6, ei7, ie8, google chrome, etc. na dapat di maguba ang design. Btaw kapoy kau programmer oi kalas kau utok. kung na anak palang kog dato mo resign ko oi di nko mag programmer. dali kau ta matiguwang ani trabahoa, imagina 8 hours of programming.... ah mg reklamo nmn gani ko sa ako lab sauna na 3 hours rato...tsk3 may lage unta kanang 8 hours ky ga dota rko ana ky bahalag binuntagay pa nya ky di mn, anang nga time pirti mn nimong huna2 ngita maayog solution abot nalng kg bsag asang forum ngitag solution ky naa bya ky timeline. ug one more thing. inig trabaho nimo labe na starter pka ayaw pg expect nga tagaan kag imo nga project na from scratch which is much more easier ky ikaw gud gahimo. mao btaw 1st week nko training kahuna2 kug undang ky ang trabaho nimo ky mg debug sa mga fixes. wow sayon kau paminawon sa ky fixes ra? pro sa tinood lng mao nay pinaka lisod ky di bya ikaw ga code ana, so mg tag-baw kg trace sa code ug sa mga value ug ma force kag sabot ug adapt sa iyang programming approach. ky every programmer lahi2 byag programming approach.

btw let me share this, naa koy mga klasmet na bg-o pa ni graduate and kamao sd to cla oi dgko sd clag grade sa ila mga programming subjects. Mao confident kau cla ug feel kau nla nga they can take all challenges ky lagi ang taas nla nga grade is the living proof to that. Mao to start dayon clag apply sa mga well known nga IT company sa IT park. so nadawat mn sd dayon start clag training. but believe it or not after 1 month ang uban ky 2 months alt qq cla oi, resign gud. Ky lisod daw kau nya pressure pjud. ako cla gi ingnan gara kau mo gud paminaw ninyo nga bansay na kau mo kay abig dagko mog grado ky kana ila grades tungod na sa ilang grade sa mga written exam, nya inig panrabaho mg written exam diay mo? nga mag actual programming mn jud. mao na. it doesnt mean nga bright kau ka sa skul bansay na kau ka. dghan mn gani kau kong mga klasmet sauna na department and mga DOST scholar la pmn gani kasud trabaho ng business nlng. OT: mmmm... OT ko kadi-yot bai ha. I just want to correct the assumptions of the majority on software testing. I think that depends on the maturity of the testing process nga gi-adopt sa company. For those companies nga naka-establish na ug testing process and certified to the highest level by a known certification body - testing is not an easy task. Pressure is equally or more than that experienced by the developers. If you're familiar with the V-model, notice that in every phase, naa gyud nay testing nga involved.

Though, i am not correcting your post sa taas - maybe ur speaking sa imo experience sa imo company. I also experienced that one when i was on my first company. My OT is just to let other readers know a little on software testing.

For those companies nga naka-establish na ug testing process and certified to the highest level by a known certification body - testing is not an easy task. Pressure is equally or more than that experienced by the developers. If you're familiar with the V-model, notice that in every phase, naa gyud nay testing nga involved.

sorry dude kung na offend tka... pro sa akong case web development so means website. lisod diay nang igo rka mag test2 sa mga forms ug mga validations ug browser issues? hinoon wa sayon nga trabaho oi... pro mas lisod amo job nga kami jud ang mag code. Hinoon di sd ko ka judge ky software testing bya imo gi ingon lisod labe na nag sulti nka mga model diha... murag lisod jud na... bsta documentation, but the thing is wala mn miy documentation. So im just saying this not to underestimate ang QA work kundi... an alternative way kung gusto ka less hasol imo kinabuhi.
