The good thing is that the entire team outside of JET played like crap, the Spurs played really good and it was still a game at the end. Still, this series is going to be very difficult.

Just give credit where it's due and move on to game 3. They came to play tonight and they dictated the way this game went from start to finish. They were just flat out better. (a lot better).

There's no sense in getting all worked up about it. We've done this how many years in a row now?

The biggest problem I had with Dirk tonight is that he knew his jumper wasn't falling, and he kept settling. I know they're hacking the crap out of you, but you have to drive the ball.

Bottom line, the Mavs lost tonight because they didn't wake up until they were down 20, and they simply couldn't score the ball. Dirk, Butler, and Marion were a combined 17-48.

See I don't get this. He shot 6 fts, tied for most on the team. He WAS going to the basket. Fact is, he was getting railed on half his shots. Not to mention almost everytime he put the ball on the floor he was getting swarmed by three defenders. Did you not see his 2nd drive on Duncan? 4 Spurs swarmed on him. Not to mention if the officiating was halfway fair he shoots AT LEAST 12-14 fts.
