OK, got it ma'am
It's not science that is feared. It's the general public.
This is basically a B.S....You and all of us doesn't know the whole truth about life. Science is a neutral zone, it doesn't favor athiests or believers or whatever. So please don't try to build walls around science as if it only favors a particular set people with a specific belief.
I expressed an opinion about how some people who are reluctant about believing in science behave. And it's a valid opinion, because I know there are people out there who have observed the same thing amongst those who are either scared of science, or express a level of ire and loathing against it. Furthermore, I wish to express nothing more than that--I was expressing an opinion.

Oh another B.S. What your saying is not an observation, but only an opinion. I hope you can distinguish between the two. Observation will lead to measurable facts but an opinion is subjective. Please review what your saying and it will come out just an opinion. Again, when your sentence starts with "I think, Maybe", that will almost automatically translates into an opinion, but if it starts with, 99% of people fear science because they're afraid that science will invalidate heaven/hell/purgatory/reincarnation/etc. according to the survey conducted by university of istorya.net science department lead by rodsky, Ph.D. in scientific method. Now thats an observation. So please, this is supposed to be a science section, and not a place to push some personal opinion against other sectors of the society.

Well and good.
It's not so much fear of science as fear of the new. People will hold fast to their own beliefs, especially if this was acquired through a lifetime.
