they finally discovered what happened to the author, i read sometime ago that they found the remains of his plane some miles off the coast of marseilles, he was a reconnaissance pilot in the 2nd world war and had dissappeared without a trace. so now we know how he met his fate..

i never thought this book would touch me in any way..

it isa wonderful story that is not just meant to teach children but also to adults..

mas maayo pabasahon ang mga adults..

an eye opener..

basta love nako ang book ug ang movie..

i saw the film 5 times, still cry every time it shows..

yep, look it up on the net, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. i think it was back 2004 when some scuba divers found the wreckage. he went missing 1944 so about 50 years he lay undiscovered. sad, but i guess thats how he would have wanted to go, doing what he probably loved to do best. if you think about it thats how the story started,of a downed pilot meeting a boy in the desert...interesting, and for me, symbollic and meaningful.

how could i forget this book. this was our lesson for almost the whole of 4th year high-skol. pero a2 nga time kay la pa paminaw sa teacher, nya la pa ksabot. but ive read the book again, and this book has very deep meanings, and i think its knda sad in a thoughtful way (specially ka2ng taming sa fox). this book has love, innocence and melancholy in it, and i hope i can never read a book like this ever again, kay mkahilak ko. buhuhu. . hehehehe

i read the tagalog version when i was in grade 1, didnt quite understand it. i have to reread it now but my english copy was borrowed by a classmate, wla pa jud gi-uli, more than 1 year na.
