Again this thread is on its way to an AMD vs Intel bashing.

As far as I know intel is now following AMDs footsteps where Intel is not focusing in the Mhz battle anymore.

I agree, Intels strategy seems that they would always be the first ones who would release their new lineups compared to AMD.

ha? bro AMD user ko ron but i've been impressed still with intel chips in terms of overclocking... my 2.4 prescott before was rock stable @ 3.0ghz... and now, pentium D 805 2.66 by default can and will hit 4.0ghz on better cooling setup...................................... now tell me if intel sucks @ overclocking............... ei?

Yeah, that's what I've read. But Opteron makes a come back when configured on a 4 to 8 proc setup.
Woodcrest's FSB choked them.

Do you actally have a Intel D 805 at 4Ghz ?Im pretty sure ni too sad kad ka a2ng gi solti sa tomshardware nga most Intel D805's can reach 4Ghz on air.. lol most D805 will start to struggle past 170FSB. you need to reach the 200FSB mark to get a 4Ghz
