Default IAFTV Open Auditions for Short Film

Film Students at the Int'l Academy of Film and TV (IAFTV) are looking for actors to take part in a short film, entitled, "JIM AND JANE."

The film is about JIM, an alcoholic who, during a church support meeting, gets accidently locked in a broom closet with a young woman, JANE. A character-dialogue driven short film.

    The roles are:

    • JIM, 30s to 50s, the alcoholic-- frustrated & angry
    • JANE, late teens to 20s, female, religious, spiritual
    • JULIE--any age, a woman who works for the support group at the church

Actors need to have an excellent command of English, as the script is entirely dialogue -- a great opportunity for actors looking to expand their showreel with a real opportunity to showcase what they can do!!

Interested parties who want to try for these roles may come to open auditions at the IAFTV Bigfoot Mactan Campus this April 14, 5 PM.

For those who want to audition but cannot make it to the schedule, please forward your inquiries and actor's biodata/information with suitable photos to mdvillavicencio@gmail.com, for a possible alternative schedule. You can also email for further inquiries and information.
