ang akoa bro kay pareha sad sa imo 3yrs old na di pa mo storya... pirmi ra mabilin sa balay man gud while working mi.. iya ra kauban kay barney... nakuyawan mi... na-timing lang sad na amo gi-enroll og todler.. niingon ang teacher na okay ra na... guess what... karon pwerteng tabi-ana... honor student pa.. mo grade 2 na xa kay na-accelerated man.. ang akong problema na sad karon kay dili jud mo binisaya... straight english jud xa.. mao na maglisod sa filipino.. although dili particular ila school sa fili..

i have a nephew who's 2 and a half years old nga di pa kaau kamao mSulti compared sa daughter ko na 3 months younger ra niya and able to talk na. i guess it really depends on the child's development. up til now monosyllables ra iyang mSulti pero kasabot baya siya kung pangutan-on siya. hehehe gnTapulan ra jud siguro or naa syay laing interest for now (active playing). but keep on spending time talking to him as much as you can, kanang repetition bitaw pra makahinumdum siya. everytime he does something good, praise him (kanang with matching exagerated action). err, i mean match your speech with actions that will draw his attention.
let's say naghilak na siya ky gusto na niya mag-inom milk. ask mo sya "do you want milk?" while preparing his milk, present the can of milk and say "milk." before handing it over to him say again "milk", while he drinks it say "milk"... if naaubos na niya drink.. praise him "wow, no more milk. wopeee!!" sounds corny noh? hehehe but its a start.

and this past few weeks i can say that he improves a lot,

one sunday morning while i was feeding my son,
while nag hulat ko niya tonlon ang food, i was watching
him watching the BLUEs Clues movie DVD that i bought,
i was suprised kai sa kanang blues clues if maka relate mo,
and start ana kai si "face" man, which he do the introduction
my son was mimicking it, he was following what FACE was talking
though dile ka au clear iyang talk, but u can say nga when face
say this he follows, ang iya rang ma follow is when face says,
hello face then bla bla.. taas nga storya... then face says
do you know the sound of a bird, he ables to say bird but
and ang "do you know the sound" kai mumbling lang hahaha
then face says twit twit... mo sunod siya, he can mimic it
including all the sounds sa bird nga i sulti ning face, i was so
happy, ka ingon gud ko, sakto jud d ai sila... he may not able
to talk for now coz lain pa iyang concentration run, peru
dile pasabot nga my son is a bit odd hahaha... naka kiss jud ko
pag ka kita nako... whew... i was soooo happy... hahais...
human kaun palitan dayun ice cream iya man favorite...
haha sort of reward para niya sa iyang gipakita ba...

My son during his 1 mos.old pa makalitok na ug "oko" dnt know nganu kana jud permi istorya sa akong mama sa akong baby hantod nalitok jud nya, it's really weird coz everytm i say "oko" mokatawa jud xa, and now his already 2 mos. mo start na xa ug litok ug "hello",may be it's bcoz i talk 2 him more often and he listens thats why cguro dali ra nya masunod. Everytym i sing,mura xa mokanta pro dli gud masabtan iyang gi storya pro u know he understands that u r singing. Cguro u need 2 talk often 2 ur child,kay ang development sa bata mag depende ug giunsa pag atiman sa parents.
