Also it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know the improvements of an Airforce... just take a look at the aircraft inventory.. or modernization of the avionics.

nope my point is..AFP knows what is the priority right now.and i said it before that we dont have any external threat..even if we buy advance aircraft for our PAF let say f16 or jas gripen(mao ni ang naa sa list sa PAF for future MRF) it would not be of used coz they still focus on internal security threat,,,OV 10 super tucano and the likes are capable of doing anti insurgency operation they would love to have super tucano..thats why we can see that some of our trainer aircraft are being converted to attack mode for used in anti insurgency campaign...take for example sf260....

i am not saying we should not buy those advance aircraft but our PAF is doing it by phase so just leave it to them they are more knowledgeable compared to us..

our neighbors have more defense budget compare to us so diri palang daan na biyaan nata so dili cguro dapat e compare...but hey look at Thailand they purchase aircraft carrier pro nagamit ba? wala kay grabe ang cost..malaysia ni palit ug mig 29,,,pro karon hapit na nila i retire kay naay mga parts nga lisud pangitaon lisud pud ang maintenance,,so unsa gusto ta ingani pud ang buhaton sa ato PAF para lang ma satisfy ang ato gusto nga mo palit ug advance aircraft maski wala ra gamit? mao pud na ako tanaw sa atong AFP dili sila mo palit ug equipment kung dili man pud magamit sa current situation usik usik lang sa kwarta...

i am proud of our soldiers and i know they will fight to the death with whatever they have to perform their duties. i am saying the AFP deserves better equipment, newer aircraft and seacraft. if your logic that we don't need jet fighters because there is no external threats, why then so many countries without external threats maintain a well equipped inventory of aircraft?

sir wala ko ng ingon nga dili ta mg palit ug advance military equipment(like advance aircraft or advance ship)..pro sa pagka karon dili pana nato kinangalang gawas nga gamay ta ug bugdet sa military naa pud tay problema sa insurgency..so gi una usa sa AFP ang pag upgrade o pag palit sa mga equipment na magamit para i address ang internal security threat mao na ako point sir...so since air force thread ni,,ang i priority sa air force is kanang magamit sa anti insurgency..like prop driven plane diba? mas capable man gud na compare sa jet..(i think SALBAHIS can explain it better)ug utility heli like sokol gawas nga barato na sulod pajud sa requirements nila sa usa ka utility heli..that would soon replace HUEY,,,pro dugay pa cguro ma ilisan ang huey..familiar na man gud ang PAF sa pag maintain ug pa operate sa HUEY,,

yaw lag kabalaka bai. if you look at the map man sad, they are located in a major trade route. go to google maps, and see what singapore really looks like up close, it's full of ports. that's their main industry, shipping. it's like their entire shoreline is a pier. no doubt why they can keep financing on new technology for defense and have extra for their maintenance. philippines is not on the same fortunate situation. that's the difference. partida tawag ana bai. we just wait, and do our part in the improvement of our country.
