Abortion is not the answer to a countries population problem but educating the citizenry safer ways to prevent getting pregnant especially in a country like ours.

i agree with you. please stop abortion jud! mura ra ug nag implement sila to kill a baby. we dont have the right and authority to take one's life. only God can give us life and siya ra sad ang makatake back sa ato life. where is the morality of allowing abortion? kay sa uban nasod, ok ra ang abortion, even marriage between same ***, ato sad diay sundon? for what? kay it seems natural nah?

I'm afraid modern science does NOT agree with you. Natural Family Planning has been proven to be the nmost effective and safest means to prevent unplanned pregnancy. Science has also proven that abstinence is the most effective means to fight AIDS.

In fact, science has also proven that contraceptives are the MOST INEFFECTIVE way to prevent unplanned pregnancy since it encourages risky behavior (more s3x partners and casual ***) which results in more unplanned pregnancies and more demand for abortions. The Church is right. The contraceptive pushers are still living in the dark ages.

we cannot say or judge that such new methods are dangerous..there are specific contraceptive methods that are suitable to a specific female, and only ur OB-gyne can decide for u on that..contraceptives have different contraindications that's y we are not 2 judge if dangerous bah nah ang newer methods or any contraceptives for that matter..reading some articles about the dangers of contraceptives are not enough, we women need the advise jd of our OBs, we shouldn't rely merely on the things we read...

and about abstinence, sure it is the safest way to prevent AIDS or any other sexually transmitted dses but we have to face reality and facts and not b a hypocrite(sori 4 d word but 8s reality i guess) on the things around us, there r many prostitutes in the city..nd no matter how much we rallied, protested, or even petitioned on eradicating prostitutions it still wouldn't work, it's here to stay, whether we like it or not..so i guess the best way is to promote using condoms nlng jd, maybe bars should b required to gve condoms everytime their GROs have customers, even if it will offend them but it's for the common good..

same thoughts here... if they know how to be responsible in the first place.. then there would be no need to abort... if they should do it.. at least they should be able to do it safely and responsibly...

but some certain catholics here would say that it would be immoral and it would promote promiscuisity.... coz they prefer the obsolete methods...

While “management of post-abortion complications” is provided, this is not to condone abortion but to promote the humane treatment of women in life-threatening situations.

It will not lead to the legalization of abortion. It is not true that all countries where contraceptive use is promoted eventually legalize abortion. Many Catholic countries criminalize abortion even as they vigorously promote contraceptive use like Mexico, Panama, Guatemala, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Paraguay and Ireland. The Muslim and Buddhist countries of Indonesia and Laos also promote contraceptive use yet proscribe abortion. According to studies, correct and regular use of contraceptives reduces abortion rates by as much as 85 percent and negates the need to legalize abortion.
