How can I remove the RAM from ram heat spreader? please advised. Thanks

Mga naka suway ani I need your advised. I have my RAMs w/ RAM heat spreader and has adhesive thermal tape as well naka intact pag palit nako before. Then akong question pwede bani cya ma kuha kay ako unta ilisan ug adhesive thermal tape or ako ilisan ug RAM? pwede ba? or di ba kaha maka daut sa RAM? unsaon nako pag kuha nga safe or safe way nga di ma guba ang RAM? btw? asa pud ta kapalit ug adhesive thermal tape nga 3M? btw, my RAM is 1 yr old already as well as the ram heat spreaders.

are u an overclocker? lol
if not then u probably don't need it.

you might need some razor blades and/or thin screw driver
and some pure alcohol, articlean or mineral spirits.
and u definitely need to warm up your RAM to help soften the glue.
you need to run some memory intensive program. maybe memTest or something like that.
or maybe u can put the RAMs in the freezer to make the glue brittle.
and another thing, don't break ur RAMs.

nakasuway ko ug tang-tang ug ingon ani pero dili sa memory. ang akong gitang-tang kay ang blue plate sa northbridge heatsink. ang gigamit pag attach kay thermal nga adhesive which i think pareha ra sa gigamit sa memory heatspreaders.


gamitan nako ug swiss knife para mulahos jud sa edge and then gi pry open ra nako pagka loosen sa contact. it may work on your end pero be careful kay basin ma damage ang mga memory chips.

Used a knife too sa akong ram sa una, karaan nato. Thermaltake nga heatspreader. Nai distrubutor og 3M products dapit sa USC main. Didto pag palit...bundle man ila sell...

maski dili ka overclocker, having a ram heatsink helps keep the mems cooler in effect longer life for it.

palit atong naa sa cdrking na metal bracket ang locking mechanism kay mas dugay madaot and easier for cleaning.

ang effectiveness sa TT depends sa imoha temps the hotter it is the better it sticks.

syempre musulod jud ang abog ana, so once in a while limpyohi (every 3months) or so.

erick is right...sud jud ang abog..mao na ako problema sa una ..hehe...

anyway wa ko kahibaw sa presyo boss kai ngpapalit rako....hehe, duha mana sila dapit sa main...naa dri sa mai jonquera extension kanang tupad sa picture-anan nya ang isa sa P. del rosario street jud unahan gamai sa gecube ....hehe
