I was a bit disappointed after I watched this movie today. I was really looking forward to watching a longer movie but it turned out to be really short for a story like this. Oh well.

I just finished watching the 1981 Clash of the Titans. I'm not sure if watching the new Clash is worth my time, money and effort.
Clash of the Titans opened with $26.4 million in North America on the first day.
Clash of the Titans raked in an estimated $26.4 million on approximately 6,700 screens at 3,777 sites, but it wasn't the only busy movie on Good Friday: Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married Too? pulled in an estimated $12.3 million on around 2,900 screens at 2,155 sites, while The Last Song collected an estimated $7.1 million on close to 3,300 screens at 2,673 sites.
Compared to 300, the massively-promoted Clash of the Titans's opening day fell short, considering its 3D and Good Friday boost. 300 nabbed $28.1 million on around 4,800 screens at 3,103 sites on its non-holiday first day (or the equivalent of nearly $32 million adjusted for ticket price inflation), and that led to a $70.9 million opening weekend. Clash played at 1,810 3D sites (the 3D share is unavailable at this time and will be reported Sunday), and Good Friday is generally the biggest day of any given Easter weekend (Saturday is normally the busiest of most weekends), suggesting Clash's weekend might not hit $60 million. Just because it's not at the level of its 300 inspiration doesn't mean Clash isn't a big movie in its own right. In addition to Friday, it also drew $2.7 million on Thursday night, bringing its day-and-a-half total to $29 million.
