in your "accounting staff" position, you have a lot better chances for "promotion" or shall i say, in a gamer's term, "level up" than in a call center...

    sacrifice on that position...

call center? maybe about 75% quit in a 6 month timeframe....

    weigh your options well...i know, i didn't...

On topic though, cvg IS the best employer that you can have... my own opinion though...

i agree with @kit_cebu ... weigh your options first TS..

Your an accounting staff? Yes i can feel you.. Gamay ra jud an basic basta ing-ani na position.. Promotion? Dah it will take a lifetime.. I have a friend na payroll staff xa, ilaha accounting manager, 18K plus lang daw an sweldo and she was with the company for almost 20 years.. If you are with a cc specifically CVG, sweldo na ni sa less than a yr na na agent..

Make sure lang jud TS unsa plano nmo sa life kay bacn noon magbasol ka if mohawa ka dha sa g workan nmo nw.. maayo man pod na pang experience na imoha work karn if ur planning na mogawas..

if you really want to save, go for a callcenter job for about 3-5 years just a ramp up your savings though medyo stressful gud siya. ako, gone is my youthful look na gikasuyaan nila sa una. ni apas na gyud ko sa akong edad due to my work in the callcenter.

    advice sa pag apply
    1. polish your english. most interview just require you to talk. so be comfortable and just go for conversational english.
    2. ang exams kay about grammar and if you apply for tech position, about PC and networking(basic ra bya pero tungod sa ka basic, na ning2x ko... hahaha)

as for me, 5 years and running nako, wla ko kaau savings kay daghan man gi supportahan(my and my GFs family) pero daghan sad ko napalit.

    @veng3ance

    on topic:

gibirahan na pud ang call center oh aning uban oh...
    tsk tsk tsk..
promotions? good future? stressful jobs? high pay?
    di ta pataka ug advise..
it is on the employee himself/herself nakasalalay ang tanan on how far will he/she get sa iyang trabaho.
kung mag tinapol, aw dont blame the position then reklamo sweldo.. mangutana ta sa atong self una kung angayan ba ta ma promote not because of tenure lng but with the skills we possess as well.

in a call center, yes it is stressful, brain busting, hell of a job but you are given enough benefits and paid enough for the responsibilities given to you. and talking about promotions in call center, play your cards well and you can be promoted even if you are still not regularized (depending on company policy). perform on your job well and you will be well rewarded by the company. ana lng..

walay manager nga mag hinakog ug promote kung deserving ang employee e promote.
