OT : Gusto ko lang ko mo comment about earth hour... it is so ironic to have earth hour in Phil. kada adlaw ka earth hour ang Pilipinas. di lang 1 hour kung di mo abut pa og 6 hours... hehehe

PHOTO CONTEST 2010

BE PART…SHOW YOUR BEST SHOT OF

EARTH HOUR CEBU!

Mechanics:

• Open to all earth-loving and photography-loving individuals (amateurs and professionals) except last years winners;
• All entries must be in 8” x 10” (8R), colored or B & W prints, not mounted; placed inside an envelope together with the film or raw and jpeg files in a CD. Name of contestant must be written on the envelope;
• Photos taken using either digital or conventional cameras; minimal digital enhancement is allowed;
• Photos must be taken during Earth Hour 2010 on March 27, 2009 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm;
• Each entry must be accompanied by an information sheet provided below;
• Participants can send as many entries as possible;
• The entry should not have been entered in any other competition;
• All entries sent are considered properties of the contest organizers;
• Criteria for judging:

o Composition 50%
o Capturing the Essence of Earth Hour 30%
o Overall Impact 20%
o Total 100%;

• Winners will receive an official call from EARTH HOUR CEBU and shall be given specific instructions on how to claim the prize;
• Deadline of submission: April 6, 2010, Tuesday, 5:00 pm.
• Awarding for the winners will be on EARTH DAY April 22, 2010

PRIZES
First Prize : P10,000 CASH
Second Prize : P 7,000 CASH
Third Prize : P 5,000 CASH
Fourth Prize : P 3,000 CASH
5 Fifth Prize : P 1,000 CASH each

by the way... any photos are photos are entitled for the contest but photos must be according to the theme which is EARTH HOUR CEBU and taken during Earth Hour 2010 on March 27, 2009 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
