Exercise what rights exactly? You don't have a right to resort to violence and intimidation and you certainly don't have the right to demand the tuition you should be paying. Nobody is forcing these students to attend PUP and there are hundreds of other schools to choose from. What is happening to Philippine society? It's becoming so communist and becoming a nation of freeloaders. Everyone seems to think they are entitled to subsidies just because it's their "right".

They should print the names of all these troublemakers so employers can be made aware to avoid these losers. Because we all know that in the future, these will be the union leaders and organizers who will cause companies to collapse and lose profitability. Send these goons to North Korea where they belong.

With this outburst, PUP grads can kiss goodbye to employment opportunities for the next 10 years. Maybe they should join NPA.

lolz... PUP has always been on that level of activism for more than 100yrs now bro... and yet, as i said, there are companies in manila who specifically look for PUP grads as hires becoz these guys are known to be hard workers and can withstand the pressures of work... anad sa kalisud kung sa ato pa... dili reklamador sa working conditions (as compared to the grads of ateneo, la salle, ust ug uban pang top univs.) ug kugihan jud. top accounting and auditing firms like SGV, Punongbayan, etc has an existing employment program contract with the College of Accountancy & Law (CAL) of PUP... i know it, coz im from that college.

theres always bad and good effects of it... me, when i was there, ive never aligned myself with any group.. i was working too at that time, had no time or too tired for activism. but during my tenure there, ive seen the best and worst effects of it. but as they said in the campus then - its better to have an active and robust studentry than a muffed and suppressed one.

i think its an impulsive reaction from an impulsive imposition - the school should have present the reasons for the 2000% hike before imposing it all of sudden. Its a state university in the first place which makes the 2000% hike absolutely ridiculous, public trying to be private overnight

^^mao jd. dako ra kaayu ng 2000% oi.
