mouse polling rate question

naa lang ko question about polling rate sa mouse. bago lang ko palit razer death adder 3g unya iya software maka pili ka sa polling rate 125hz, 500hz, 1000hz. sa dpi pud 450dpi, 900dpi, 1800dpi, 3500dpi.

what i know is that the higher the polling rate, the higher the number of times a mouse reports to the port or something like that... and also mas taas ang cpu usage if higher ang polling rate. most regular mice use 125hz by default.

1. ako lang question is worth ba nga magpa taas ug polling rate unya hago kaayo imo cpu coz ni saka man ang cpu usage?

2. would the higher polling rate translate to very noticeable increase in smoothness? or overhype ra ni cya?

3. in higher polling rate taas man pud ang cpu usage, ingana ba ka negative ang impact sa higher cpu usage or negligible ra?

please give me your thoughts kato mga expert ani nga butang. thanks.

Ans. Yes, mas taas mas pino iya movement.

Ans. Sa graphics mani mo igo gud, so kung naa adjustments sa imo graphics naa sad mausab sa CPU processing.

Paspas na ang frequency sa data na iya e send sa cpu.

ok thanks sa imo answer moklo, it helped. pero dili pa kaayo ko satisfied sa number 3 answer coz cpu usage mangud gisulti sa ako nabasahan, it didn't mention about the grafix card.

core 2 duo lang ako cpu, with grafix nga ati 5850

i think i'll also ask kato ako nakitan diri nga user pud ug razer death adder.

pero if quad core optimized or multi core optimized games ana murag dako dako og impact ang high cpu usage daan, if dual core lang imo procie
or if heavily processor intensive application imo gamiton, like video decoding, or unsa pana naay difference gyud

if ma notice sad d i nimo sa mga bench sa mga review site, kasagaran dili man molapas og 10 or 15 FPS ang increase if mag change to higher processor sila usually akoa makita kay below 10 FPS ra man in which if ako mag tan aw murag wa kalainan para sa akoa, kana noon 15 FPS or 20 FPS na increase ma klaro gyud kaayo

@dmelsie, thanx sa imo explanation bro. i think ill go ahead with the 500hz polling rate coz naa man pud nagsulti sa forums ako nabasahan nga di na kinahanglan ang 1000hz coz 500hz and above di na maila ang diperensya. dayun ang 125hz to 500hz daw ang dako ug diperensya nga makita.

@dmelsie, bitaw lagi pud ingon ako cousin nga kung quadcore optimized game dako daw diperensya pero if dili quadcore optimized game, wala ray makita diperensya sa dual core and quad core. plano pudko mag core i7 para quad core na pero later pa, and unya na kung naa nay mugawas next gen processors para at least barato gamay ang i7.
