I respectfully disagree. IMO Catholics supposedly don't celebrate at Holy week. We observe Holy Week. It is not just about remembering nor it isn't celebrating a death anniversary. It is called a Holy Week and not a Feast/Party Week for many reasons. IMO, it is a time for a self-check or evaluation on our self whether we have been more like Christ or we've gone astray.

Holy things/days should be kept Holy. We Catholics always say we believe in Christ, we believe to "Bro", But why do only a few can observe and respect those days/things that our church recognizes as Holy? Even misleading it into a celebration?

Is this how we revere Christ?

I never said it is the only time we evaluate / have self check. But I should have mentioned that
My point is, keep Holy days/things holy.

the holy week is only 7 days of the year why can't we observe it with due respect?
