I respectfully disagree. IMO Catholics supposedly don't celebrate at Holy week. We observe Holy Week. It is not just about remembering nor it isn't celebrating a death anniversary. It is called a Holy Week and not a Feast/Party Week for many reasons. IMO, it is a time for a self-check or evaluation on our self whether we have been more like Christ or we've gone astray.
Holy things/days should be kept Holy. We Catholics always say we believe in Christ, we believe to "Bro", But why do only a few can observe and respect those days/things that our church recognizes as Holy? Even misleading it into a celebration?
Is this how we revere Christ?
