    Default Holy Week should be kept holy why party?


    Ngano? im not a very religious person but even i give respect in these few days of the year. so whats with the partying and drinking? especially in boracay.


    p.s i edited the thread to avoid confusion.
    this thread is addressed to the catholics out there. and every1 regarding of religion race and color are all welcome to share their opinion.

    they claim individual freedom for that bro. though it seems a mockery of a spiritual observance of the Christian Holy week. i agree with you...i ask the same question too.

    ^^ di na fiesta didto sa bantayan igka holyweek.... palusot rana sa mga taw nga pwede mukaon ug karne didto mao bibo didto plus sa beach..yaw mog adto if mao na inyo githink sa bantayan,party,kaon baboy, disco2x ug uban pa kay tintal na sa debil...kusog baya ang debil anang panahona kay namatay ang Ginoo...

    more on personal and not spiritual reasons cguro.. we went to bantayan pod pag holy week, party, inom, s3x and drugs.. hehehe joke ra ang last 2..
    mura xag mid year vacation sa uban.. party party party..

    pero ako, mu attend jud kog masses, palaspas, ug easter sunday mass..

    it is really disheartening to know that people will find a way to go around with what is more important or the true essence on why we observe the holy week.
    ang mga tao mangita ra gyud ug rason para lang ma pangwartahan ang Holy week. last year katong sa bantayan issue nila maui taylor and friends bikini show on a very holy day. and in return as a punishment gi himo sila ug ambassador for women's rights? how and what kind of reasoning goes on those peoples minds!?

    really sad.

    on national television, is shown that celebrities and other popular personalities spend the holy week in merry making at boracay and other places of fun and merriment. i think it sends the message to the tv audience nationwide that Holy Week here in the Philippines is party time. we are in a new age of twisted values. in the middle east, it is a crime to mock their religion.

    ang ako ra nabantayan ron kung holy week kay cge na adto ug beach ang mga taw.
    kung ang mga santo sa simbahan pangtabunan ang mga taw maghubo na ug sinina.
    naa pa uban nga kuyog pa ug prosisyon nya mangita ra ug gwapo or gwapa.

    bisan gani regular nga sunday mass
    kung imo pangitan.on kada mogawas gikan ug simba kung unsay sermon sa pari
    pila ra kabouk katubag.
