20-30K ang price range ato pups
Hi nutley, sori krun rako kalog in.bin bz jud.nywy,i saw that thread also & i agreed with it from my purebred dog involvement year's ago.it has been written in books & magazines again & again, kaniadtong wa pa na uso ang internet.ang nindot lang krun na surface na jud thru the net, more aware na ang pet owners.
BLUE QUESTION:actually, bisag unsa ka planned sa breeding there's always a throwback sa litter.iya jud to giplanned, dont u think it hasnt came to his thought.but as i said its a gamble kay no matter what methods u used the problems encountered in breeding & keeping purebred dogs are divided into 2 categories:first, those that may be an intrinsic part of the animal's make-up from the beginning (inherited) & thus with the benefit of hindsight, should be known & guarded against but how could you guard from possible health problems if most breeders here would either hide it or deny it from would be pet owners, ensuring na mahalin jud ang pups or maybe because of the less advanced technology we have maglisod jud cla ug trace except thru trial & error only.second, since its a purebred animal due to pheno & genotype manipulation, there's what we call "pitfalls"with which health problems just appear out of the blue.
RED QUESTION: YES 5%,in the actual bases i've witnessed inbreeding, estimated 20 or more inbred litters (mostly parent to offspring mating),only one or two of those ang naay defects but it died sooner after it has been born.mostly, its the hybrid vigor that's affected,it weakens.mao nga we need to scrutinized its pedigree record jud kay if inbred na ato dogs we should outcross it para ma ka add ug new vigor sa ato program ( & at the same tym mag introduce pud jud ta ug additional faults).but thats breeding.
BLACK QUESTION:if available na u could submit ur dog to genetic/health testing then mas mau but as of now wa pa jud na dri pilipinas.breeders here usually depended on screened imports (OFA'd,PENNHIP,CERF,etc.)..which di ghapon assured na mu produce ug healthy offspring but taas2x ug chance.& or the usual thing to do...TRIAL & ERROR.di jud na as always error tanan but if it does then common sense...either u dont breed that dog which always produces "error" litters or you find sumthing new to breed her with, research, etc.
ako lang klarohon @ nutley,i might given u a wrong impression that im an "inbreeding fan" but im not actually.im more of a linebreeding & then outcross fan (as long as the outcrossed dogs are of similar type which would compliment each others faults & virtues).im just giving inbreeding,an ere side which could be helpful also at certain line or breeding program, how we could use it properly in our breeding program, etc.because, although it has more deleterious effect but it has some ideal effects also if u knew what ur doing.as i said, im all out to a breeding no matter what form as long as it surely produce..functional,healthy & ideal/working temperament approved pupscoz afterall, isnt it what we are looking for or aiming to produce in a certain breeding?
further,i suggest u study & research beyond what u saw or hear, what's really ur breeding goals, etc.im actually a bookish person,a nerd to dogs thats why i adore reading rather than browsingthe net kay magsakit ako mata.a good read would be the books by malcolm willis entitled THE GSD:A GENETIC HISTORY,roy & clarissa allan's the essential GSD,dieter flieg's BREEDING BETTER DOGS,anthony w. jury's Labrador retrievers:an owners manual,& a subscription of DOGWORLD magazine..Dr.caroline coile's breeders column.i could lend u some just inform me lang,i'd be happy talking dogs (just no sarcasm involved, hehe, just kidding)gud day!

gud pm mga sirs...naa ko 4 months old nga gsd pup..til now wala pa gyapon na tangkag iyang ears...nsaon nako para matangkag na iya ears? naa cya health problem? tanan nyang mga igsuon nitangkag naman gud..
hi there, ive had that problem also with my previous GSD pups, usually gsd pups perked there ears up fully @ 4 to 5 mos others tend to be late usually around 6 mos.but by & large, gsd pups whose ears are late to stand up are a result of thick ear crests & or large ear leathers.it could also be that nag teething imo pup,kay the developing teeth reabsorbs some of the calcium in its ear cartilage which is needed for the ear erection.pwede ka mu supplement ug calcium sa imo pup then itape pud ang ears sa imo pup para makatabang ug strengten sa iya ears.but if its almost up,then just have patience it will be up sooner or later![]()
