depende jud sa area. Pag daghan foot traffic tapos dili pa kayo saturated ang area then why not go for it. No guts no glory. Hehe

is there some sort of a computer shop owners association here in cebu? in my hometown somewhere in laguna, computer shops can't just decrease/ increase their price. ang nangyayari kasi pag price war eh parang bastusan >.< sa cebu lang ako nakakita ng computer shop na 5 pesos lang per hour hahaha ayus!

i think wala silay association dadto. if they had then mag sabot unta sila sa standard rate, para way bastosay. grabeha sad anang 5pesos per hour oi. ang gina kaon sa kuryente sa pc set kay 5pesos per hour man, unsa nalang iyang ginansya. lol

unfortunately, you are dead wrong. Cebu has the nonsense and useless Internet Cafe Association of Cebu (ICAC) whose president (at least during the years I was in the industry) does not even own a cafe no more (don't ask me the reason why).

there should be a minimum price, say P15.00 per hour, then they can price anything they want above that.
but it's a free country under capitalist economy... so what can u do.

price war, new licensing scheme sa microsoft, city taxes, BIR taxes, sss, pag-ibig, philhealth, salaries, isp, veco,
pag ka paita, i cant do 15/hr kay silingan tag 10/hr nalang, though 12/hr ko but kamang jud, naa pa daghan piso-piso sa mga suok-suok.
ang tig-raid busy pa sa election, way nahimo o natabang ang govt gawas sa pag paningil ug tax

wow i guess the situation for internet cafe's in cebu is really bad. i hope that does not happen here on cagayan de oro. good luck with you all cafe owner's.
