residents of cebu city won't take notice of little things done to the small towns and cities in our province..take for example lang bogo city..even if kontra kaayo na si gov. gwen and the martinez, daghan kaayo gepasemento ug aspalto nga roads si gwen didto.. kada munisipyo ug syudad dire sa probinsya sa sugbo natabangan/nahatagan na bisan gamay nga proyekto ni gwen..kay ang mga kapitan man ang muduol nya... try going to the municipalities and ask unsa project nga na implement si gov sa ila lugar, they could name a few.. a nakaapan lang jud ana nya, every time muadto sya municipality/city kinahanglan naa dako nga tarpaulin niya..she loves fan fare..hasol kaayo na engun ana.. but project wise, she did a lot to Cebu...

Unfortunately dili jud winnable si Davide. He has maybe a 1% chance of winning. Garcias are very good at pandering to the uneducated and ignorant voters (most of whom come from the province) that is why they focus on projects that have mass visual presence and impact over projects that are truly substantive but behind the scenes.
If you want good governance you should see how governors in more developed (advanced) countries with intelligent voters act and compare it to how Gwen is acting. You will never, ever see a governor in the United States doing suroy-suroy and it's not because they aren't as creative as Gwen Garcia, it's because it's beneath the position of Governor to be wasting time doing gimmicks like that which any intelligent voter can see right through as mere scammery or cheap antics. Unfortunately for us, we have so many ignorant voters who "settle" for gimmickry instead of demand real leadership, the kind that pushes for real change without having to blare their horns at every minor accomplishment. I'd rather have a politician who works tirelessly behind the scenes in order to improve my life rather than someone who keeps trying to take center stage on gimmicky projects that benefit only their image as opposed to that of the welfare of their constituency. But that's just me...
