For Nursing Students: What do you think about the quality of CI's in your school...

Pa-terror2x na aron maka kuha ug respeto sa students, pero imo gani questionon ambot lang, dili nalang ko mo sulti. (pero dili tanan nga ci ha, duna pud gyud kamao nga ci)

no! dapat man if naay problema ang ci with the hospital staff didto niya ireport sa dean sa skul dli makig lalis. dapat mo follow bya sila sa chain of command same sa staff nurse if naa problema with the ci adto report sa nsg. sup.

I agree. But depende raman gyud na kung unsaon pag-take sa staff nurse ang pakiglalis sa teacher. Kung ang staff saputon, nah diha na mu-ulbo ang problema. hehe

naa may ubang mga CI nga maayo gyud kaayo mu-lecture, sus wara'g memorize na ang libro. If you will ask questions, matubag gyud. Very impressive sa iyahang presentations, pero dili kaayo maayo pag-abot sa clinical area. On the other hand, naa sad CI nga maayo kaayo pag-abot sa duty sa hospital, all the techniques makat-unan gyud dayon sa students, but dili kaayo maayo mu-explain sa theory. Depende ra gyud nas CI. Pero dili gyud lalim mag-CI oi. Kapoy kaayo mga paperworks, unya mag-masters pa gyud.

ako katong nursing student pako, generally i hated my CIs... why? most (if not all) murag kinsa kung manulti... usahay madamay pa ang akoang family sa kasaba...haizt** vot lang ana nila...
i can just count the few good ones... kanang maau mulecture, mu.encourage sa students and kanang "professional" kaau...
i think i only had about 4 CIs na naging good influence sa ako-a..the rest, vot lang

hey guy's just wanna share my experience hah...
im gay...
im a 4th year student sa usa ka nursing skul dire sa cebu...
girly ko og looks but its natural raman...
i act decently pud and i havent encountered any probelm dealing with people, patients i rendered care with, sa staff sa hospital actually close kaau mi nila, sa mga CI's and classmates... wala pako katry og patient nga nireklamo nako coz di maau pag render og care nila or tungod sa akong pagka AKO!... being gay... then here comes a CI nga returnee... karaan nani xa nga CI and nibalik xa sa among skul to teach again... alwayz jud ni xa mubadlong sa mga hair sa students if taas bah... almost every student nga maagian niya iya jud badlungon.. and of course ako pud... always jud ko niya badlungon.. ang akong hair kay pina korean inspired man so naa xa bangs nga sided... style ragud xa to cover my WISDOM(agtang)... niya gi call niya akong attention coz she doesnt like to see me having those kind of hairstyle.. so i decided to fix it a little.... but ana jud among dean nga she doesnt care about our hairstyle as long as we act decently... so i followed wat our dean said.. i act decently, (always man jud ko muact decently)... hehehe.. niya mao nato... one time lang she called my attention napud coz ako nasad daw hair... until such time ana xa magstorya ragud ta... nahalok jud ko i tot iya ko tagaan og anecdotal or wat... then ana xa nako .. "did you know dili naka madawat dire nga hospital coz your gay, and ayaw iabot sa point nga ang atong university dili na mudwat og gays tungod nimo...".. ambot lang hah,, but the way she told me bah kay maka discourage gani.. nasakitan lang ko sa iyang gisulti nako... dili xa therapeutic..

hi! i think naa may protocols as to the hair of nursing students.. pero kato about the discrimination over your sexuality, it's out of the question... di na maau... i dont know if we come from the same school but when i was in 3rd yr i had this ci, old na sad, i think she's about 60 na gani.. we were 10 in the group, 1 was gay.....sa tanan na kasaba ang bayot juy madiin niya (even w./o any reason at all) and twas all because our dutymate was gay... i mean, can he help it if ana jud xa? and of all professionals, i think a nurse should fully understand sexuality and orientation...dba? para san pa major ang psyche sa nursing...tsk tsk
