Hehehe. but Nka basa ko sa review sir sa lain nga website, they say, tamron is much better compared to sigma, but sigma has a HSM mangud. But if naay money extra sir, go for nikor nalang gyud. same ta ug g think sir about tamron & sigma, but in the end mag save up nalang ko ug 20-700mm nga nikor. kay para waay mahay gyud. utungi lang sa gamay sir. if naakay kaila naay 20-700 borrow lang sa nila hehehe...

yeah ur right.. nikkor is nikkor jud.. pero i made this thread para maka help sad sa mga budget conscious nga mga consumers in case di jud ma kaya sa budget ang nikon.. kay unsaon man tanang gusto kaau tag usa ka butang pero di diay ma afford. so adto jud ta sa ma afford nato. dba?

on the other hand, sakto ka.. in terms of OPTICAL quality and sharpness, daog jud ang tamron over sigma. pero in terms of fast AF and silent AF daog jud ang sigma over tamron. so depende rana nimo if para unsaon nimo ang lens. if u are into sports photography, or into shooting fast moving subjects, then go for sigma. pero if u are putting into consideration the sharpness of output then go for tamron. tamron dili mag silbi sa sports and shooting fast moving subjects due to its slow focusing. ideal lang ang tamron for still life, portraits and etc. nga di kailangan ug fast AF.

the choice essentially boils down to the superior optics of the Tamron versus the Sigma's excellent autofocus system.

Really, it boils down to "KNOW HOW". Kill me for stating this but there is no difference between the three. ^_^ Print the images taken on a Sigma, Tamron and Nikkor, in 4R size photopaper, and you see there is not much difference among the three in terms of quality. 90% here does not print their images. I bet.

aw.. in a way, ur right.. di naman gud uso ang print2 karon.. mu print ra ang mga tao kung naay photo contest join-nan or kung gustog hard copy.. haha..

I do agree. I have a kit with nikkor 18-55 VR but I also bought a Tamron 18-200 AF-S. I compared the results taken by both lenses in 50mm then printed it. Find no difference. Unless siguro if maggamit ta microscope and then ang ato pangitaon is ang difference ra jud. Also, dili man sa lens magdaug but sa kaalam sa tag-iya sa iyang gamit. Unsaon man na nimo mahalon nga lens nya di kamao mogamit (dili ikaw TS ha, sila. heheheheh).

nice thread vanix! i dont know about sa 70-200 sa tamron ha pero nakaagi kog gamit sa 18-270 and 17-50 sa tamron and makaingon jud ko nga luoy ang focusing nya. d jud makaya pinaspasay.

sa akoa lang ha. dili gihapon noticeable ang difference sa AF. heheheheheh. hey karp, wa sad kay labut ato. hahahahahah
