Feed 2-3% of total body weight in BARF per day and you should be all good.

@bullybreedlover pwd ba ang poodle na 5months ani BARF?? can i ask the procedure on how to prepare the chicken backs/neck?? e-boil rani cya??pila ka minutes??

Everything i read says that you just give the food RAW, totally uncooked. So to prepare your necks and backs you throw them in a bowl and put them on the floor I was a bit worried about bacteria and making the dogs sick, but dogs have a very short digestive system coz they are carnivores. They can easily handle bacteria's that would make you and me very ill.

I mean, think about it. My dogs lick their butts and everything and never get sick, right? I just give it to them raw and its all good.

Here is the homemade yogurt recipe taken from Dani Brown's book, "The Whole Pet Diet."

Yield: 1 quart of yogurt / Serving Size: 1 tablespoon

    1 quart whole cow's or goat's milk

1 cup plain yogurt (live culture)

Bring the milk to a full boil. Let it rise to the top of the pot, but don't let it boil over. Lower the heat and simmer until the milk reaches 110 degrees F, stirring frequently so a skin doesn't form on top. Mix 1 cup of the warm milk with the yogurt. Pour this mixture back into the pot of warm milk and mix well. Pour into a glass bowl and cover (can use a clean kitchen towel). Keep the yogurt in a warm place (from 110 degrees F to 120 degree F) like your oven. The pilot light of your gas oven will usually keep it warm enough. Let the yogurt set for six to eight hours, then store in the refrigerator, where it will keep for about a week. Bring each serving to room temperature before serving.

This yogurt is for human and animal consumption.
