Furthermore, I understand that you have 4 channel amp, where 2 channels are still useable.
Try to check the wattage on your amp, if you will bridge the channels, and its corresponding impedance. dapat mag match ang impedance sa amp nimo ug sa sub nimo.

say for example if you will bridge your amp, then 2 ohms ang gawas, dapat ang wiring sa
DVC sub nimo dapat 2 ohms pud.

if dili pwede ma 2 ohms ang amp nimo, ug 4 ohms ra gyud siya kutob, wa may problema nga imong
i.wire imong sub through series nga 8 ohms lang. however in this regard, you will only be using half of your amp's optimum power...

@ K+SOLID : thank you very much sir for the input. My amp. says POWER OUTPUT 4 ohms is 50watts x 4, POWER OUTPUT 2 ohms is 62.5watts x 4. Does this mean, i should wire my sub through parallel? will i maximize my amp's power? thanks.

Daghang salamat Ry... totally satisfied with the results especially with the low cost involved. ^_^

Starting out I never thought I'd be "very interested"... after a few days, I found something that's really interesting and inspiring... not that I'd do these since I don't have the resources, but I think this is something that should be seriously looked into by someone who might have the resources... -> BERYLLIUM BMW 323ci. - CARSOUND.COM Forum

    hello sir.

yes, wire your sub through a parallel connection so you can optimize the juice coming from your amp.

give us an update on your projekt soon!

yep, you're right. DA has one of the best passive xover. if i'm not mistaken, they are using mundorf capacitors, which is one of the sought after capacitors in the market.

by the way, what amp are you planning to pair with your DA's?[/quote

i dont know if your familiar with those old school SOUNDSTREAM AMP THEY CALLED
    THE REFERENCE CLASS A PICASSO
its a pure class A topology amp manufactured during the late 80s, they say its one of the best SQ amp ever made, ...conservatively rated at 20 watts per channel( you know how they make and rate amps during those days)...
,,.im very fortunate to own 2 of these classic amp, in mint condition... including its big brother
SOUNDSTREAM REFERENCE class A 10.0. i had these classics ever since i got hooked on car audio
and that was a looooong time ago heheheheh.
back then they use to call these amps "CONTINIUM" ( What a coincidence as it rhymes with PRISTINIUM)

    GOOD DAY SIR
sorry sir. I am not familiar with those amps. but i heard from jino that they are good amps which when paired with MB quarts they will really sound uber good.
however there might be better amps that will pair more beautifully with your DA's.

try to search for Sandz amps, i think there's a write up on these amps at KAC(kotseaudioclub.com)

Celestra VA (a bit pricey, but man, they are really good.)

ART amps, are also good. they retail at 12K for a 4 channel. these are amps which were made by audiophiles

give us an update on your projekt sir.
