Heroes' end is near and is on the bubble because of terrible ratings and NBC does not feel confident enough to give any plans whether to end it or give it a fifth season yet. They are in wait and see mode. Heroes creator Tim Kring is already developing a new show which is a not so good news for the show. We all just have to wait for the decision of the network and we all know what happened to Conan O'Brien.

In my humble opinion, Heroes was only good in the first two seasons. I watched it until the fourth season and I didn't like it.

While I agree that Heroes' end is near (it is something that is difficult to sustain both story-wise and budget wise since the same formula is going to be boring season after season especially for US viewers), I still believe that it will be given a fifth season if just for farewell purposes.
