ok, serve as a warning, I think the thread has served its purpose na.

I'm seeing this thread as another Cueshe bashing thread,

pero what if noh, kung drummer ba ron sa ----insert band name here--- did the same incident, will it be interesting to post a thread about it?

Vanceloma.. I don't know Cueshe that much, I have no reason to BASH them ... seen them play sa TFC and that's it.

If lain nga drummer/band did the same thing.. I'd still post about it. People might find it interesting, or they may not.. But I'd still post about it.

If you know anything about drumming... a drummer's personal setup is very important... they have their own preferences. How high the throne is, how high the snare is, how it's angled, or is it mounted flat. The tom setups .. the cymbal setups... daghan kaayo. I can't speak for all drummers pero ako, I am very particular about my setup.. that's why drum companies invented memory locks so they can setup the kit as accurately and quickly as possible in according to the drummer's preferrence.

Now.. if someone else wants to use my setup.. breaks down part of my kit, I expect him to put it back together as it was after his set. That's just musician's ethics. If he breaks one of my cymbals.. REPLACE IT without any question (a good cymbal is 40$ to 300$ each). If he punctures or dents a drumhead, replace it!!!! (drumheads are 8$-80$ depends on the size). Basically, if you break it, replace it.

DAGGET... ug ikaw kaha nasa lugar ni Vinci, di ka mo reklamo? Again, bisag kinsa pa tingali nga drummer (or musician) ang ibutang sa lugar ni Vinci, mo reklamo gyud. Good thing nga at least he gave other drummers sa pinoydrum community the heads up (there are over a thousand members sa pinoydrums egroups including very well known drummers sa Philippine Music Scene).

If bias si Vinci against sa Cueshe, dude.. I bet di siya mag bilin ug gamit sa setup. Pero look, nagbilin pa siya ug snare drum, Hi-hat, ug Ride. Mao nay naka pait, walay respeto sa gamit sa ubang taw.

Well maybe because CUESHE's probably been using house gears (technical riders) ... not personally owned gears preha sa situation ni Vinci.

ill try to ask my bro, he's a close fren of the group. by the way, the drummer's name is mike manaloto, he's the son of dr. manaloto. for the mean time, di lang sad ta ta mo-judge dayon dba? we weren't there to witness it happen! and i think we should be proud of cueshe since sila ra ang band form cebu who made it big sa manila, and they never denied na taga-cebu sila! they are bringing are name!

and its astonshing a SITE ADMINISTRATOR fiercely defending this vinci........

I mean cueshe is really at a BIG DISADVANTAGE here....

so to me this is CRYSTAL CLEAR a bashing thread.....


The question that needs to be answered is......

WHY NOW?

WHY NOT BEFORE?

if you reads the words of the author...... then you can conclude that CUESHE really wrecks equipment..... then in all of their GIGs there should have been some if not all equipment totally wrecked....

so why ONLY NOW?

how long has Cueshe been playing there..... maybe a truck load of equipment should be destroyed by now.....

can you give us the picture of the truck load of destroyed equipment.....

Do you really think a person would sacrifice his hard-earned equipment just to make up a situation para ma blame niya ang usa ka taw?Â* Â*Would Vinci write something about it if it was someone else? Do you think I am biased against CUESHE?? give me reasons why I should be.Â* I am U.S. based.. been in the U.S. for the past 12 years.Â* Do you really think I would know CUESHE other than what I see onÂ* TFC (The Filipino Channel) and the things I read about them on the forum?Â*

I am defending VINCI because I can relate to his situation.Â* As a working musician, equipments don't come easy.Â* Sa sueldo sa usa ka session drummer, do you think sayon sayon ra mag ilis ug drumheads??Â* .....Â* and.. regarding to the breaking down of equipments and not putting them back up, what can you say about that?Â* Is it okay to leave equipments behind after a gig knowing that the session drummer still has a set to play??

And you ask.. why now?? .. if this happened 2 years ago, I bet he'd make the same statement then.Â* But it happened LAST SATURDAY... so when do you think he should voice out his complaints? Before the incident happened DUDE.... if you read the words of the author.. it happened to him LAST SATURDAY!

Again, I will explain about the "TECHNICAL RIDER" .. a Promoter/Producer would contract a rider to supply the equipments to be used for the show.Â* The producer would then hand over a security deposit to cover damages in case something happens to any of the equipments.Â* The producer would get the deposit back after the gig.

About how long CUESHE's been playing there... I have no idea, like what VINCI said, CUESHE just played in between sets as guests....

TRUCKLOAD OF EQUIPMENTS Â* ... you're funny.Â* We're talking about drumheads here.. and besides, if they ever wrecked that much snare drums.. hey, maybe it was all being paid for by the technical rider's security deposit... OR.. he brought his own gear.
