@LESLEE - talking to your child definitely AFFECTS the IQ etc etc

I stumbled on to a video two years ago that told me to TALK TO MY KID so that he will get a high IQ score. But my son was already FOUR when I saw the video. Listening to the experts in the video... I am thankful that we were able to do what we were supposed to do with my son before he turned 3.

Listen intently to what they have to say. If your child is beyond 3 already... DO NOT FRET. I also believe it is NEVER too late to start something good with your child. So parents.... get everyone in your family... INCLUDING the yayas talking to your child, reading to your child... interacting with your child.

Here is the link: The IMPORTANCE of Talking to Your Kids

    ana lang...
ako pa nimo ask dayun..wa may nakalain ana. imo bitaw nang mama, dli in-law or laing mama.
mao say naka-advantage kung ipabantay ug yaya kay masugo nimo kung unsay imo gustong pabuhaton (kana kung dli badlungon) kaysa kung parente lang lisud na sugo'on....

since my baby came home from the hospital kay sige naman nako hear ug nursery rhymes bisan matulog or mata sya.. mag ilis ilis pud ko ug dvd kay para lahi lahi pud iya mahear..

ayaw pud i baby talk imo anak.. straight talk jud.. since imo anak sige watch ug barney try cartoon movies.. u talk to him in english since mao na iya kanunay makit-an.. if he always watch english cartoons im sure fluent jud na imo baby.. coz thats wat happen to my son...

dont worry too much if your son talks a bit delayed compared to other children, for sure he will catch up, just continue talking lang to your kid (dili baby talk). Whats more important is your sons emotional intelligence, try as much as possible not to use scare/fear tactics to command obedience; the best gift you can give to your son is self-confidence & he will best awaken it thru you bro, motivate your son "the love/interest" of learning not learning per se, motivate your son to the good things for its own sake & not because of the reward/praise, etc.
