I surveyed 14 people about Chuva-Chuva and Authentic Lingam Massage.
- both are very competitive in terms of massage skills, presses and prices
- Chuva-Chuva has an edge in terms of venue. I guess customers prefer its cubicle setup over the "bahay" environment of Authentic
- both are disciplined and professional. *** is strictly banned in their joints.
- both are highly recommended
i thought my hubby was kidding when he said that lingam massage meant massaging the genitals! (we talked about it once we passed by the one beside abuhan (ramos st). gi tagaan sad ug permit to operate noh...hehehe
Lingam in the news
Cebu Daily News | Cebu's Only Independent Newspaper
The SWAC is obviously happy with the probe.
There was one "lingam" massage joint along Pelaez street that reportedly offered ***. I wonder what the joint is called.
It all comes down on how massage joints handle themselves. Chuva-Chuva and Authentic Lingam Massage have proven to be professional and disciplined when dealing with customers.
As for the other "lingam" joints - 789, Stressfree (already raided for *** long before lingam arrived) - perhaps they are not so professional.
Back to the SWAC and its opposition to lingam...it is believed that they are not telling people that they want to have Cebu's massage market all to itself. If they cannot beat their competitors through service, they would go to the government to do their bidding.

According to the CDN report, complaints came from "wives and some concerned citizens".
Something is fish. Did any of those complaints come from customers of lingam? Wives are not exactly customers since lingam is meant for males. Speaking of wives, what are their husbands opinions, if any?
More about the probe itself, it could be useful to weed out the lingam joints that actually offer *** to customers in its premises. Just the same, the owners of lingam joints should come out and talk if they really are serious in defending their businesses.
About the SWAC, is there any monitoring at their joints? They claim to be wholesome but does that exempt them from investigations as well?
What about the sleazy, cheap massage parlors that served as *** fronts in the city? Are the authorities doing their job on them?
